Reading is at the Heart of it all

By Ellen Dutton
Ellen Dutton from Evelyn Grace Academy in London has put reading displays in different classrooms. She has made the theme relevant to the subject and it works really well! Ellen says that they are trying to create a strong reading culture in their school and also show that students who love reading generally do better in all different subjects.

I think it's a really good idea and would like to do a similar thing myself. It is a great opportunity to use display to promote the library, and reading, to subjects that rarely use the library resources.
Thanks for sharing Ellen.

Horrible Histories

By Heather Stapleton
Heather is a library technician working at St Joseph’s College, Geelong, Victoria. Thanks for sharing the "Horrible History' display. It's a good one - I like the use of the plants.
