A Minion Reasons to Read

'I have had great feedback and interest from students and staff alike over this window display. With the invasion of all things "Minion" this summer I decided to collect the figures from all my friends whose children like fast food meals. I titled it "A Minion Reasons to Read" and just keep checking books out of the window to students who want them now. My favorite are the four in the right hand corner carrying books on their heads'.

'I saw this on Pinterest and adapted it to my windows for our I Love to Read week (we have a literacy week each Feb. in conjunction with Valentine's day)…we have door decorating contests, daily dress up themes, character parade, literacy projects, etc'.

Roadway 2 Reading

Here is another fantastic display that Glee Stormont has produced for Kailua Intermediate School in Hawaii. This display has been used to promote books for Special Ed students.
We have a section in our library which I have called 'Quick Reads' which would sit really well with a display like this.
