Harold and the Purple Crayon

Thanks to Tracy for this fabulously fun idea. I am constantly amazed at the ingenuity and creativity of you all, this display would have cost Tracy hardly anything and yet it is so effective. Here are her comments:

'I sketched scenes from the book on the library windows to promote our family reading night activities based on Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson. I printed two pictures of Harold holding a crayon so it appears that he is sketching the buildings and police officer'.

Family Reading Challenge!

'In February each year we run the Family Reading Challenge - parents have to borrow picture books by six different authors (one at a time), and read them aloud at home. This display promotes the challenge and shows some of our favourite picture book authors'.
