On the RHS of this page under useful websites, you will find some links to Calendars of Events. They are always useful for display ideas.
I particularly like the 'Fun Days' site - Elephant Appreciation Day and International Butterscotch Pudding Day appeal to me!
Not only does this site give some wonderful special days in its calendar, it also has some great links for resources.
