I pulled together a wide range of survival stories for this display, heroic stories of surviving war, recoveries from shark attacks, surviving tsunamis, surviving accidents, surviving tragic childhoods .....
The joyful orange man was from clip art: Joyful Orange Man. I used the shape to cut out more men from photocopies of the covers of books on survival.
