Take a Bite out of a Good Book

By Ellen Dutton
Ellen Dutton from Evelyn Grace Academy in London has put reading displays in different classrooms. She has made the theme relevant to the subject and it works really well! Ellen says that they are trying to create a strong reading culture in their school and also show that students who love reading generally do better in all different subjects.

I think it's a really good idea and would like to do a similar thing myself. It is a great opportunity to use display to promote the library, and reading, to subjects that rarely use the library resources. I will photocopy the covers of some of our best computer books to go with this one.

Thanks for sharing Ellen.

Take a byte out of a good book

By Kateri Wilson
Kateri Wilson from James Young High School in West Lothian, Scotland has some amazing ideas for display. The picture below is just one example. Kateri has enjoyed the ideas from this Blog and in return has invited us to have a look at her great Library Blog:

The displays are under the subject tags on the left.
Thanks Kateri!
