Books as Movies

Thanks for sharing these great displays with us Lisa. 'Books as Movies' is a popular theme and it's lovely to see some more creativity associated with it. I love the details in your displays. The red cardboard curtains are stunning and the border made with admission tickets looks great. The voting system, described below, is also wonderfully inventive!
Here are some details from Lisa:
"We have 2 library entrances, each with a large bulletin board and display shelves. We decorated the bulletin boards to set our theme and then had different books/movies displayed around the library. The students were asked to vote (if they had read the book and seen the movie) on which they liked better. The ballots looked like pieces of popcorn and the students placed them in popcorn boxes. Voting was open for a week. We announced the results during morning announcements and sent an to the classroom teachers e-mail as well. In most cases the books got more votes than the movies!"
