Word Cloud Quiz

By Tracy Taylor

Thanks to Tracy from Kentucky for sharing this fabulous idea. Here are her comments:
'I created word clouds about popular books using the tagxedo website and displayed them in the library windows. Kids and adults alike have gathered around reading and figuring out which book each one is about. I put a “lift the flap” answer key on my door for those that get frustrated and can’t figure one out'.

I will be a friend of nature

By Оlena Petrenko

Through this lovely display children are encouraged to select books and learn interesting facts about nature then test their knowledge with quizzes (questions on pieces of paper).

A Pirate's life for me!

By Yuliya Antonova

A fabulous display from Yulia celebrating all things nautical.
A quiz was included in this display - hidden pirate scrolls could be unfurled to reveal questions and at the end of the summer the children were awarded small prizes for their answers.

Divergent

By Denise Borck

Denise has shared her recent display as part of School Library Month. I love the idea of a quiz for students to determine their faction! Thanks Denise.

Here are her comments:
'April is National School Library Month and all month long we will have promotions to celebrate. With the movie release of Divergent based on the YA book by Veronica Roth, it seemed to be the perfect way to kick off the month’s activities. We started activities with a Divergent bulletin board which has a quiz for students to determine their faction'.
