Samoan Language Week (May 29th - 4th June 2016)

By Elaine Pearson

“E felelei manu, ae ma’au i o latou ofaga:
Birds migrate to environments where they survive and thrive."

It's not too late! Find the posters that should have arrived in your schools (New Zealand) and gather together all your Samoan books to celebrate Samoan Language Week! Our Samoan students always appreciate the effort to recognize their culture and it's a great way to promote new and related books.

New Zealand Music Month 2015

By Christine Hurst

Christine was inspired to create this awesome display from a picture on Pintrest. It was interesting to hear that many of her students had not seen records before and couldn't believe they were so big and that you had to turn them over to hear all the songs!
Thanks for sharing Christine!
